How to propagate succulents

Propagation means to breed specimens of )a plant or animal) by natural processes from the parent stock. I will be sharing how I propagate my succulents.

First you have to allow the cuttings to dry for a few days in an empty tray until the raw ends have calloused. Next, the cuttings can be rooted in soil or water. Soil: Once the stems have calloused, fill a shadow tray with well-draining cactus/succulent soil and place the cuttings on top.

String of Hearts // considered a succulent vine. #Ceropegiawoodii is a flowering plant in the genus Ceropegia, native to South Africa, Swaziland, and Zimbabwe. It is sometimes treated as a subspecies of the related Ceropegia linearis, as C. linearis subsp. woodii.

Water Propagation

One of my favorite methods because although dirt makes sense water has always sped up the process before installing them into the dirt for further growing. What you do here is exactly the same but instead of laying or planting them in soil you need to find a good jar (I prefer Mason jars so I can see the plants progress).

You will notice your leaf or plant beginning to root add water as needed.
